We know how important safety and security is to our families. We understand the need for an extreme amount of sensitivity around the information that is stored and shared on this site. For this reason, we have implemented the following policies to ensure your utmost control over private information.

• Your contact information is collected for use on this site ONLY. We will never, ever distribute any portion of your contact information to anyone else for any purpose.

• You can choose who gets to see what information. Family information can be displayed to as many or as few degrees into your network as you wish. Use the detailed privacy settings in your Edit Profile section to determine if your information is totally restricted, or open only to friends, or friends-of-friends, etc.

• We are happy to offer comprehensive background checks available through our partner Lexis Nexis. They are available for a charge of $45 for a new one and $20 to see an old one. These background checks cover the following:

  • Name, Address and Social Security number verification
  • National Criminal Search
  • County Criminal Search
  • Sex Offender Registries Search
